North Carolina Museum of Art
The North Carolina Museum of Art is an art museum in Raleigh. It opened in 1956 as the first major museum collection in the country to be formed by State legislation and funding. We highly recommend visiting this museum.
Contemporary Art Museum of Raleigh
Contemporary Art Museum of Raleigh is a multimedia contemporary art gallery in Raleigh. CAM Raleigh has no permanent collection but offers exhibitions of works by artists with regional, national, and international recognition.
Durham Performing Arts Center
Since its opening in 2008, DPAC has become the center for live entertainment in North Carolina. Recognized for its contemporary design, DPAC features 2,700 seats, intimate sightlines and stateof- the art sound and video. hosting over 200 performances a year including spectacular touring Broadway productions, high-profile concert and comedy events, family shows and the heralded American Dance Festival.
Meymandi Concert Hall
The North Carolina Symphony calls this remarkable, 1700-seat venue home. And it’s easy to see why. This venue delivers the warmest, clearest and most immersive sound experience possible. National and international artists and performers now speak of this hall’s remarkable acoustics.
Red Hat Amphitheatre This venue is a popular spot for up-and-coming acts new to the music scene as well as larger names. With a cozy atmosphere there’s not a bad seat in the entire music venue.
Walnut Creek Amphitheatre Is a beautiful outdoor music venue in Raleigh, North Carolina and plays host to some of the biggest bands and artists in the world. It originally opened on July 4, 1991 and was built by the City of Raleigh. The amphitheatre has a capacity of 20,000 making it an ideal venue for large summer events.

North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences
