A Brief History Of Our Bedford Neighborhood
The Flowers declarant has followed the tradition of naming neighborhoods that reflect its’ rich history. Cottonfield Village on the west end was in the 1950’s planted in Cotton; Walker Woods was named for the famous Walker hounds owned by Mr. Flowers. Many awards and trophies are included in the memo aphelia which will be soon on display in a new mixed use area, named North Waterfront District. Mr. Bedford Bailey, was a local friend of Mr. and Mrs. Flowers from the 1950’s. He was a tall, dark haired astute gentleman with a gentle, friendly attitude to everyone. We are proud to have this community named in his honor.
Our Bedford neighborhood is filled with quick move-in homes. With a total of 190 lots, we still have 36 remaining lots and 17 homes for sale in the sub-division.
