Flowers Plantation would like to fully introduce our Foundation Director to our community. Dan Whaley has been diligently working as the Director since 2023, overseeing an abundance of tasks and assignments as the community continues to grow.

Dan Whaley’s impressive background certainly positions him as an ideal Foundation Director for Flowers Plantation. With his extensive experience in project management, financial operations, and community engagement, he brings a diverse skill set to the table. His leadership skills and strategic vision are invaluable assets that will contribute to the success and well-being of the community.

After graduating from NC State University, where he remains a loyal Wolfpack supporter, Dan started his career in banking and finance.  Dan has a strong foundation in financial analysis, lending, and business development. His involvement in representing the bank at civic functions highlights his commitment to community engagement—a quality that will undoubtedly serve him well in his role at Flowers Plantation.

Transitioning to the construction industry further broadened Dan’s skill set, particularly in project management and team leadership. His experience as a Project Manager demonstrates his ability to forge strategic partnerships and achieve significant milestones—a testament to his effectiveness as a leader.

In his role as Foundation Director, Dan oversees all aspects of the Foundation’s operations, ensuring that residents, employees, and visitors have an exceptional experience. His commitment to safety, security, and financial excellence reflects his dedication to the community’s success.
