In honor of this year's Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, we would love to hear stories about your Moms and/or Dads. What makes them your hero? How have they helped you become the person you are today? What sacrifices have they made for you?

The top 5 testimonials will be picked each from the Mom’s category and the Dad’s category. These testimonials will be announced to the public, who will then get to decide on the winner! Our winners will be featured in our May/June edition of the Flowers Plantation Treasure Newsletter along with some honorable mentions.
Our Youngest Readers will also have a chance for their own competition! We are creating separate categories for children ages 12 and under. The two categories will be children up to 7 years old and one for 8 -12 years old. Two winners will be selected from each age group and will receive their own $50 gift card and featured in our May/June newsletter.

Monthly Socials Postponed
Monthly socials are being postponed until completion of the outdoor Pavilion. With the overwhelming response from our residents, we are currently having to turn down registrations because of lack of space. The addition of the pavilion will allow more room for additional guests so that everyone will have an opportunity to participate. Thank you to everyone who attended the March social and we will keep you informed of when the socials will be reinstated. Thank you for your understanding.

Flowers Parkway Closure
Flowers Parkway will be closed at the 42 gatehouse entrance for a week beginning March 14th. Weather permitting. Residents, guests and YMCA members are asked to use the parkway entrance at the Buffalo Rd. gatehouse.
