Join our dynamic team at Flowers Plantation as we seek a dedicated individual for the role of Community Safety Officer. In this vital position, you will undertake a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the security and well-being of our vibrant community. As a Community Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining peace and security within Flowers Plantation.
Your primary duties encompass a diverse range of responsibilities. From ensuring the security of Flowers Plantation to serving as the first point of contact for residents in emergencies, you’ll be at the forefront of community safety. Equipped with a prescribed uniform, including khaki BDU pants, a black polo shirt adorned with our community safety logo, khaki boots, and a khaki belt, you’ll patrol our parkways, walkways, ponds, and greenways via various means such as vehicles, foot, and golf carts.
Your vigilance will extend to commercial areas, where you’ll diligently identify and address violations such as loitering, illegal parking, and suspicious activities. Additionally, you’ll monitor and report street light outages to Duke Energy, ensuring well-lit environments throughout our community.
With a focus on maintaining order and safety, you’ll actively monitor for fishing violations, vandalism, and fire safety hazards across Flowers Plantation properties. Your commitment to CPR/AED certification underscores our dedication to emergency preparedness.
As a key liaison between residents and emergency services, you’ll facilitate effective communication channels while promptly addressing safety concerns such as sidewalk damage, dead trees, and low-hanging wires. Furthermore, your role extends to event support, where you’ll assist in traffic management and crowd control to ensure seamless community gatherings.
Your qualifications as a Community Safety Officer require a high school diploma, with preference given to candidates with law enforcement, security, or emergency services experience. A self-motivated individual with the ability to operate vehicles and traverse extended distances will thrive in this role.
