Flowers Planation has the best of both worlds, it truly can please any person. With a central location to the mountains or to the beach your next adventure is waiting for you! From land to water the possibilites are endless, our community is located near the Neuse River along which walking trails and water sports are plentiful. There are a number of community parks within a short distance as well as a hunting preserve.
Rose Hill Plantation
One of the most unique on-property amenities at Rose Hill is the Rose Hill Sporting Clays Range. Guests have the option of automated shooting facilities featuring Skeet and Trap, for both the novice as well as the experienced sports shooter. The Range’s staff can provide guns, ammunition, instruction and mandatory eye and ear protection. For the ultimate gamesman experience, the Rose Hill Hunting Preserve can be reserved for seasonal quail and pheasant hunts for your group. The Preserve is available for both guided and unguided hunts and can be tailored to your individual preferences and needs.

Mountains To Sea Trail
The Mountains to Sea trail connects the Eastern coast of NC to the western mountain region of the state. Hop on the 11B section of the trail, this 68 mile stretch travels through Raleigh, Clayton & Smithfield. Stroll along the Neuse River and enjoy the scenery. The natural pathways guide runners and walkers over bridges and through a breathtaking landscape. If you’re looking for bigger thrills bust out a kayak and paddle down the gentle waters of the Neuse.

Neuse River Adventures
Enjoy a quiet and peaceful drift down the Neuse River with this Canoe & Kayak rental shop. Perfect for romantic outings, family fun, or even group outings for churches, civic organizations or corporate events. You’ll also encounter an abundance of Mother Nature’s finest sights along the way . . . beavers, cranes, fish, and perhaps even a few friendly fisherman.

Nature Trails
Paved walking trails connect throughout Flowers Plantation, linking neighborhoods, amenities and schools. Getting around the community is a breeze and provides a safe option for those looking to explore the great outdoors. There are over 25 miles of nature trails connecting our community with the Triangle area.
